Sorry for the caps in the title.

if the Start>run>cmd>ipconfig /flushdns wont work try this:

add the following to your host file:

80.239.180.111 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.180.112 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.180.113 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.180.114 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.180.115 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.180.116 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.180.117 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.178.109 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.178.110 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.178.111 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.178.112 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.178.113 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.178.114 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.178.115 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.178.116 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
80.239.180.110 eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

this is found in your c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\ folder the file is called hosts

just add this to the file using notepad after the localhost line.

Hope it helps.

Edit as vista is "different":

Windows 95/98/Me c:\windows\hosts
Windows NT/2000/XP Pro c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Windows XP Home c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Vista is this:
1) Browse to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories
2) Right click "Notepad" and select "Run as administrator"
3) Click "Continue" on the UAC prompt
4) Click File -> Open
5) Browse to "C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc"
6) Change the file filter drop down box from "Text Documents (*.txt)" to "All Files (*.*)"
7) Select "hosts" and click "Open"
8) Make the needed changes and close Notepad. Save when prompted.

Edit 2 for the MAC:

Load a text editor with Root privileges
Open the /private/etc/hosts file
Add the list

The fix posted here was to help players log into the game when one of our login servers was down December last year.

All our login servers are currently up and running, if you're unable to connect you may find some help here:
