Howdy, i've been riding around Thunder Bluff all night and i'm unable to get quest credit for the Explorer here.

I am sorry for the time you have had to wait for a blue to reply Sallien, but I agree that there is definitely something ‘iffy’ going on with the Thunder Bluff exploration criteria. QA are currently investigating.

I just wanted to reiterate and reassure everyone that this is a known issue and it will be corrected as soon as possible. Unfortunately there isn't any way to do this without a patch, hence why we haven't been able to sort this out for you yet. :)

Our in-game support team has had mixed success when trying to resolve this without developer intervention, so rather than ask you to contact yourself only to later find that we can't solve it in your individual case, we're asking that you wait for an actual fix from our developers.

I appreciate that you're eager to complete the achievement and that our mixed assistance may seem unfair, and for that I apologise; it's simply a consequence of the problem.

Sadly this didn't make it into the update, which was primarily focused on fixing critical problems such as the instance and battleground crashes many players have been experiencing. :)

Just a quick update on this situation; if you’re still missing ‘Thunder Bluff’ as the last section of your ‘Explore Mulgore’ and corresponding Kalimdor and World achievements, and don’t want to wait for the upcoming fix then you can raise an in-game petition requesting assistance.

Please bear in mind that this may take some time due to the nature of the issue, and our current queues, but we’ll get to you as soon as we can!

I believe that Tailyda’s point above was that, as long as you meet the stated necessary requirements, you can submit a help petition to have this issue verified and hopefully then fixed manually by a member of our in-game team, so please do open a ticket as soon as possible if you’d like this done for you. :)

While I can understand some of your frustration, you’re actually posting in a thread that explicitly says that our in-game team will correct the issue regarding the missing Thunder Bluff achievement criteria (as long as this is the last remaining part you need for your Kalimdor and World Explorer achievements), and it’s also been stated that this issue should be fixed at an underlying level at the next available opportunity (which does, unfortunately, usually require at least some kind of data patching).

I’m afraid to say that, with the majority of the issues you report, a client update will be required for the appropriate resolutions to be implemented – and we do always aim to provide data on bug fixes in any patch notes released – so this may be a case of being as patient as possible until that point, but please accept our apologies nonetheless for any inconvenience these issues may be causing you.

I think the posts above hopefully explain that if this is that last remaining part of your Mulgore, Kalimdor and World Explorer achievements, you can make a ticket in-game for a member of our support team to correct the missing criteria – this should hopefully resolve things for you. :)

No there isn’t Eww, however, it appears that yours was fixed in the middle of the night for you. =)
