hi all just a question does wow work on windows 7 i seem to be having problems with the patch and version up dates after installing wow

i am on a acer aspire
what i did was i on windows vista and a problem came up on the computer and as i could not find my recovery disc for vista i put windows 7 on the computer but after reinstalling wow on to it wow doesnt seem to want to get the updates so i am now here any help would be great and i thank all in advance

It works. Sometimes the patches won't run unless you right-click the WoW icon and select to "run as Administrator" (or whatever the English Win7 calls it).

This. Make sure you set the launcher to "Run as Administrator" in the properties section and you should experience no patching issues. :)
