As posted by Kozgugore before, Defias Brotherhood celebrated its fifth anniversary with a battle in Ashenvale (and the Alliance also assaulted Orgrimmar) and in the Shimmering Flats, these two locations were special to the residents of the server, as the most oldest veterans would remember that the first huge world pvp event (before battlegrounds) was within the Shimmering flats, and the first RP-PVP event was within Ashenvale; it was also decided as this would be the last anniversary war before the world is changed by the cataclysm.
