UPDATE: We have since made another hotfix to just change the way the healing works completely. It now heals 5% of the death knight's health per disease on the target, up to a max of 15%. This should allow Frost and Unholy to benefit from Death Strike healing while letting Blood benefit from extra Death Strike damage. The tooltip will not reflect this change until we can patch the client.

In tank gear/spec/presence with 32105 hp:-

Death Strike hits Highlord's Nemesis Trainers for 855 physical
Death Strike heals Nagadk for 3211


In dps gear/spec/presence with 24179 hp:-

Death Strike crits Highlord's Nemesis Trainers for 7035 physical
Death Strike heals Nagadk for 2418

We have indeed made another hotfix that changes the way the healing works completely.

Death Strike will now heal 5% of the death knight's health per disease on the target, with a max limit of 15%, which will be helpful to both Frost and Unholy Death Knights as they will benefit from Death Strike healing. Blood Death Knights should find that they will benefit from extra Death Strike damage.

Please keep in mind that it will require a future patch to update the tooltip, which means that the tooltip does not reflect this change until then.
