Q u o t e:

was costumer support ever useful then?
i usually end up being pissed off after a conversation with a GM

One can always get unlucky and catch someone on a bad day. Can you give an example of the last reasonable question you asked a GM?

that was 3 months ago, and it had something to do with my UI, he gave me the typical reply of deleting those folders which would solve nothing
i'm not in the mood to make my mouse meet the wall again and having to buy a new one after every conversation i have had with a GM who's in a "so-called" bad mood, eventhough he simply pressed a random macro because he simply couldn't care..

So you had a problem with your UI ( I assume some AddOn then..?) and after removing the WTF and Interface folders, this problem was persisting. You then continued to ticket a GM, told him you had already done this and the problem was still there?

i contacted and my ticket got removed without a reply...
which what happened already 3 times in former issues and pissed me off greatly

That's odd... you just said: "he gave me the typical reply.. "

is EVERYBODY on this forum stupid or something?
i contected him, he gave the reply, i did it, problem persisted, i contacted again, ticket removed without reply

lacking logic or something?

and no, i couldn't care less you're a CM, so yes that everybody could include you

Ok, the picture is clearer now. I'll see if someone can look into what happened there :)

Ninja edit: Was it on this character?

Aeus, when will Blizzard learn that the garbage about the WTF files simply doesn't work for a large minority of players and that assuming addons are the problem each and everytime gives us the impression that bots really could do the GM job just as well.

GMs regulary 'deviate' from 'training' or misappropriate it to get through a ticket because Blizzard has a *target* for tickets that needs to be met. So the GMs sometimes don't care much about solving our problems when the deadline is approaching and they are short on tickets marked as 'solved'.

Did it ever occur to them that many tickets are repeat tickets? It might: if they fob a player off with nonsense and mark the ticket as 'solved' then the player writes again to say it didn't solve their problem or they were unhappy with the service, it's just another ticket added towards the target.

Did you mention in the past you are in some way familiar with doing Customer Support related work?

how should i know?
it's 3 months ago

and frankly, i don't care anything about that stuff... i've moved on, i live in the present, not the past

Cool. I'll consider post 17 retracted then :)

Next time you have a problem with a ticket, copy paste what you submitted, add any explanation of the situation, and visit the In-Game Customer Support forum :)

No, I said that I did my work experience at the Office of Her Majesty's Trading Standards. But that merely gave me very amateur investigative skills and I was only doing heavy lifting for confiscated counterfeit clothing and boxes of pirate videos.

All right, conceding you have a grasp of how some of these systems work, we have also established that you don't have the 9+ years of experience I have in CS. Point being that there will be plenty of people with valid complaints and issues; you would not believe how many people submit an email, a ticket or using any other medium submit an issue which was simply user error; NOT the system, NOT the service provider.

I can't count the number of times I, myself, in different companies received "tickets", if you will, which had no foundation, nor validity.

Ultimate point being; perhaps we should help people with submitting issues; how to add structure and most importantly, add a proper explanation and summary of steps already taken.

Don't be stupid, of course I'm not blaming them for an asinine local law, the French seem quite capable of doing that themselves .. I AM blaming Blizzard for not putting some sort of backup mechanism in place.

Hiring and training several hundred people for one day's work?
