One can always get unlucky and catch someone on a bad day. Can you give an example of the last reasonable question you asked a GM? |

So you had a problem with your UI ( I assume some AddOn then..?) and after removing the WTF and Interface folders, this problem was persisting. You then continued to ticket a GM, told him you had already done this and the problem was still there? |

That's odd... you just said: "he gave me the typical reply.. " |

Ok, the picture is clearer now. I'll see if someone can look into what happened there :) Ninja edit: Was it on this character? |

Did you mention in the past you are in some way familiar with doing Customer Support related work? |

All right. This UI incident, which character/realm did that happen on? |

Cool. I'll consider post 17 retracted then :) Next time you have a problem with a ticket, copy paste what you submitted, add any explanation of the situation, and visit the In-Game Customer Support forum :) |

All right, conceding you have a grasp of how some of these systems work, we have also established that you don't have the 9+ years of experience I have in CS. Point being that there will be plenty of people with valid complaints and issues; you would not believe how many people submit an email, a ticket or using any other medium submit an issue which was simply user error; NOT the system, NOT the service provider. I can't count the number of times I, myself, in different companies received "tickets", if you will, which had no foundation, nor validity. Ultimate point being; perhaps we should help people with submitting issues; how to add structure and most importantly, add a proper explanation and summary of steps already taken. |
