I'm having a connection issue. I can login however, about 20 seconds later am logged out. I then get stuck at the "connected" confirmation and can change game servers, but will never move onto the character select screen when attempting to login again.

Before I am initially logged out there seems to be extreme lag as if my internet connection is very slow yet I'm having no issues with other online games I play.

I've followed the instructions in this article:

but it doesn't seem to help other than allowing me to connect again to the character screen again before the process completes.

my partner who plays on the same connection but different account and computer, suffers no issues with connecting and playing.

this has been occurring for the past few days and I haven't managed to play at all since the problem occurred.

any help would be appreciated :)

Hi Kaelimaar,

Please can you try altering the MTU value for your connection?

To do this, firstly download Dr. TCP which can be found here; http://www.dslreports.com/drtcp

When it is downloaded, run it and then select your Network Adapter from the drop down list. Please then enter '1400' in the box marked MTU, click Save and then restart your system. Then, test the game to see if these settings have resolved this issue.
