According to the new arena-site, " At the end of the First Qualification Round of the Tournament, the top thirty nine (39) Arena Teams in the North America Region, and the top thirty eight (38) Arena Teams in the European Union Region who have the highest ratings at the expiration of the First Qualification Round of the Tournament will receive invitations to compete in the Second Qualification Round of the Tournament."
This seems to utterly exclude some of the low-populated battlegroups' teams from ANY chance at all in participating in the finals.
Its bad enough that our battlegroup gives us way longer waittimes for both arena and normal battleground games.
Its bad enough that our battlegroup should have been "fixed" for a long time now. 2 pvp servers?
Its bad enough that the low amount of decent teams makes good practice a lot harder to come by for dedicated teams in this battlegroup.
Now, I dont want to sound too harsh here. But if I read this right, a team from our battlegroup will have a incredibly miniscule chance of attending the finals. That is not right.
Atleast consider making it the #1 teams from each battlegroup and then the highest rated teams, after that. Im fairly sure it was originally stated the "number of teams from each battlegroup will depend on its size" or something to this effect.
Yet, as it is now, again: a team from our group is virtually CHANCELESS of reaching 2200+ rating, due to the low number of 5v5 teams overall, due to lack of games and lack of games that actually yields ANY points at all. (and still, freak disconnects really can screw over more rating then you can pick up from even winning games for 5 hours straight.)
I urge Blizzard to ensure that it is still possible to have a chance of qualifying, even if you are unlucky enough to be placed in a battlegroup with extremely low population/activity.
