Was wondering... Would it be hard to make a chatroom on the WoW forums? Perhaps the script is to heavy for the WoW website to handle but knowing WoW official website is devided in parts perhaps this may work if put in a seperated part?

Got 0 knowlage about script and stuff but is it possible? (To the bleuposters the question is there the manpower for it?)

Regarding chatrooms, we have no current plans to implement this kind of functionality to the forum software. While we appreciate the idea as it would take away some of the pointless 'chatroom' spam threads here on the Off Topic forums, there are plenty of other websites and software applications that offer this as a free service.

Currently, your best bet is probably to try and organize a collective use via one of the free solutions available. One of the more popular services is IRC (Internet Relay Chat), which can be accessed freely via any IRC client; the most popular windows based client would be mIRC which can be found here: http://www.mirc.com

Hope that answers your question as we have no current plans of implementing a chatroom feature as stated.
