Character tranfer PvE -> PVP idea

Read.. before you reply.

I know this isn't allowed. And I know why. The reason given is that "it is more difficult to level up on a PvP server".

ok, fine.

I propose that if I have at least one level 70 on one PvP server, then this restriction be lifted and I be allowed to transfer any character onto this server. I have "proven" I can level to 70 on it.

EDIT: Reworded to make it clear i'm talking about tranferring to the server you level to 70 on.. sorry if that confused anyone.

We will let this topic stay open for now in order for you to discuss this matter and to share your opinions on it, but please keep in mind that we have a reason why it is not possible to transfer a character from a PvE realm to a PvP realm, and we have no plans of making this possible in the future!

Q u o t e:
Q: Can I move from a PvE/Normal to a PvP realm?
A: Much of the challenge (and excitement) with playing on a PvP realm is to always be on your toes, whether it's during leveling, outdoor raiding or getting to your raid instance. We do not wish to cheapen the effort put in by players on a PvP realm by allowing others to bypass this challenge by leveling up on a PvE/Normal realm and later migrating to a PvP realm.

You mean you're giving us carte blanche to flame the crap out of each other?

No, people who resorts to this kind of behaviour will have their access to these forums removed!

Despite our very clear message that we have no plans on changing our character transfer policy, there are still people who have strong feelings, opinions or concerns on this topic, and as such they will be free to discuss it in this thread.

Keep this thread on topic, please. Arguing and debating amongst eachother, throwing insults and personal attacks will do nothing but get this thread locked.

We have already stated our official stance on PvE->PvP character moves, and have no plans to change that stance. However, rather than having a new thread created seemingly every day, it's preferable to keep the discussion in one thread (this one).

That being said, the thread will autolock in about 60 more posts. Please remain civil until then and let the thread die on it's own.

Thank you.
