Cannot log in WoW, unkown reason :(

Hi ppl;
I logged in fine just yesterday evening; but when i tried to log in again in last night i faced many kinds of difficulties:

1- I cannot pass connecting stage
2- If I succeed it, i hardly can pass (or not) authentication stage (handshaking as well)
3- if I somehow pass authentication, i get through the loading screen, even after it is completed i cannot get into WoW and after a while i am disconected.
4- If by any chance I pass all these steps, I have 9k ping and i disconnect immediately :(

My Internet speed is just fine, nothing with it. It was all green in my last login yesterday evening but in the night following, my nightmare started :(
BTW I dunno, maybe i have not noticed it before, but my nightmare started at the same time with a "Download for next patch is available" warning in the opening window. But I am not sure i this warning started yesterday night or it has any relevance with my problem. However i cannot see any bg downloader when i exit wow :(

PS: When i tried to open BG downloader manually a few mins ago, i realised that it tried to download patch 2.4. Isn't it weird? It s not released yet? How are we let download a PTR patch? (I did not get it so my problem has no relations with it)

Someone pls heal me :(

Hi,

If your connection is hanging on success then something is limiting your connection or preventing the game from completing its connection to your realm.

First thing is to check if the Background downloader is running, typically this program shouldn't effect a corectly configured connection but you can disable this from downloading pre-patch data.

Start-up the Blizzard Launcher, and select the Options button. This will take you to an options page that lets you configure how the Background downloader works.

Download while playing World of Warcraft - Will download a small amount of data when the game is running
Download after exiting World of Warcraft - Will download s small amount of data when the game closes
Don't throttle background download - Will allow the Downloader to use as much bandwidth as it can use.

Un-checking these options will disable the background download, try to see if disabling this program solves your connection problem.
