Now that Silent resolve dont work on shadow spells the use of shadow priests are not exsisting.
We have been changed to a pure pvp character with no use in raids what so ever.
Using our shadow spells the shadow priest gain so unbeliveable amounts of aggro tha even thinking of using the Vampiric embrace is out of the question.

I play shadow priest myself, and really see this nerf of the shadow priest as a sign of that my char's role in grps and raids has been played...

The whole idea of shadow priests is being able to make an ok dps and through that keep his/her group healed. This way the primary healer was able to focus on tanks and players with direct aggro.

The idea of having a shadow priest as primary dps is not even an option. We dont have enough base dmg to even get close to what mages are able to do...

So Blizzard - Why these nerfs - it was hard enough before the nerf to convince people that raids and groups need a shadow priest ?!? why :(

I would personally not say they are useless. It requires some more planning and you might not be able to spam all your abilities all the time, but you should still be an asset to a raid group.
