So back when wow started, even in tbc there was nothing to buy with real money.
Now we got. Any reasons why not in tbc and why now?

Technology? I doubt blizzard didn`t had the knowledge to build an online store + in game pet/mount delivery.

If blizzard will add items with stats (gear, stuff to keep in inventory and get a bonus in stamina, etc) will you buy that too?
