Blizzard contests and validation.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but let's go ahead anyway: I had created an entry to the Valentine cotest, and I must say I was pretty confident about it. I had submitted it before february the third, on the second, to be exact =p (Which was prior to the deadline.)
I had read the terms and of course couldn't miss the part where it said the entry had to be validated. The mention of telephone communication was in there, so I assumed Blizzard would call me as I had to submit my telelphone number alongside the entry.
Of course that didn't happen, and I started to realise it was I who had to call (Atleast I think so). The thing is that I'm really disppointed because my entry was discarded. I know it's my own fault and I was kinda expecting it. So, what I'm basicly asking now, for some peace of mind: What did I do wrong?
HOW should I have validated my entry, if I should have called where the murloc was I supposed to find the right telephone number? I just need to know what exactly I did wrong, and I hope to find that answer here.
Thank you. (And for those interested, this was supposed to be my lovely entry: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y237/Derion/Magicvalentine1.jpg boohoo =( )

What is meant by "Entries to the competition will have to be validated and..." is that you should have gotten the "Success" page that comes up after you submit the webform. If you got that, then the entry was validated and received by the people who needed to see it.

Basically it means that you can submit a written request for Blizzard to pay the cost your ISP charged you for using the webform. The request would need to be accompanied by a receipt.
Given the amount most ISPs charge, this is usually a very small fraction of a cent, which means that in the majority of cases, the cost of sending the request would vastly outweigh the amount returned.
