Why?

Is there any reason why Blizzard deside to change banish so that we no longer can remove banish?


Its not in any way usefull in PVP, so the reason is not there.
Its a well deserved ability in PVE, removing it only make everyone more stressed.


Anyone who can give me 1 good reason?

Lifting banish through casting it again on the banished mob was possible for a while and then was fixed in a recent patch.

We realise that many of you liked this change and enjoyed it in raids, but the "bugged" banish effect was not intended and that is the reason it was “removed” again.
