If you have features you would like to see added to the Armory, please post them here. :)

Thanks!

Actually I agree with both of you :)

It would be handy to see which characters are associated with each other, and on the other hand, I wouldn't necessarily want people to know which alts I own.

The suggestions will be passed on, but there is definite merit in both points of view, and a healthy discussion :)

Cool idea - I'm fixing up a paladin for tanking at the moment, so I understand what you mean about required stats. Certainly giving more support to that issue would be good :)

Unfortunately we're not generally told which suggestions are going to be implemented, and we find out when the Armory team implement the changes.

Yup, I totally agree. When I get some time, I'll get onto that :)

As I've posted in the threads, suggesting people come here to discuss it, Armory features are determined by the Armory team and we're passing feedback along to them.

Actually there is a discussion on the General forums about it too, that I'm keeping an eye on.

In general terms, I'm all for a lively and involved discussion about the subject, but if you start insulting the company, or my colleagues then your posts will be removed. Including the comment about supervision.

Things are not implemented randomly, and not by one individual. There is a team that works on the Armory content and layout, and presumably this was considered important enough to be added into the display.

If you personally don't like it, that's one thing. But it doesn't necessarily follow that someone was negligent in implementing it.

Please keep it civil. It's much easier to highlight and address a problem when the information is presented without insults.

I don't want to get into an argument or even a discussion on this point. Insulting the company or the people working here is not going to be tolerated no matter how much you dislike some point of lore, mechanics or functionality which has been implemented.

I am more than happy to pass on your feedback to the Armory team. I am not happy for that team or any other team, to be insulted.

That's not my intention - but the purpose of the post you responded to was to try and explain that if people want to put their point of view across, then that's great. But not to ask for additional oversight, or for people to be fired.

And yes, that's something that people seem to think is appropriate to post in this forum.

I really don't want the conversation derailed on this particular point :) But I felt it was important enough to mention.

I suspect that's rendering, rather than dataminig, as you get the Armory busy message when it is receiving too many requests.

Edit - Uff my typing. More caffeine.

Depends on the browser, but you are right, I didn't explain that very well.

The problem we had earlier with Firefox crashing all the time was because of the reason you mention. At the moment, the fact that the US Armory loads quite fast and the EU one doesn't leads me to suspect that there's an issue somewhere with the code on the EU side. Even though its the same people coding both...

It seems we'll be updating it sometime today so hopefully that will address some of the stability issues.
