Changes have been made to the Armory code to handle profiles differently in order to correct the error that sometimes occurs when a character is renamed or migrated, and its profile conflicts with another character.

For example, a level 70 druid will display on the Armory when selected, as a level 22 warlock.

Some of these examples have cleared up over the weekend but I'm advised that the problems may occur until maintenance this week. They should disappear after this time.

If you have a profile which is not displaying correctly, please feel free to post it below and we'll check it over together after maintenance. In order to ensure everyone has time to log in after maintenance, I'll address these on Thursday.

Character displays correctly for me - please specify in the same format what the issue is so that it can be addressed :)

It sounds as though that's an issue with the guild affiliation rather than being conflicted with another character. You can read more about this in the Armory Known Issues sticky.

Today I escalated all the profiles which were conflicted with another character - ie 72 priest showing as 15 rogue.

For profiles which are duplicated because the character is shown in multiple guilds, this is an ongoing issue related to the guild update process, and there is no news on the resolution of this issue at this time, I'm afraid.

Yes, the whole thing is puzzling. You would think a guild would 'own' a character rather than a character 'own' a guild. Apparantly though the way that guilds update is different to the way profiles update and a review of this has been scheduled but no news.

I had previously asked for manual fixes and was told to stop asking as they were working on a whole-view fix that would solve the issue. So ... unfortunately no, I'm also waiting for the fix to come in :(

Tartare, I have reported your issue. Aracnafobi, your issue seems to have been resolved.

Once again: this thread is for reporting conflicts between characters that cause the data not to be displayed at all. It is not for reporting duplicated profiles or incorrect guild information. To report those issues, please go to the "[Armory] Known Issues and Status" thread. That thread also tells you what information I need in order to pass the report on to the Armory team.

Inso, this thread is for character conflicts only, not missing Achievement points. I have created a new sticky thread to deal with that problem. Please post in it providing the information I've requested.

Lierra, I just checked and I'm able to pull up your profile with no errors. Could you try disabling any brower add-ons you're running, clearing your cache, and trying again?

Warriors currently do not display stats modified by Berserker or Defensive stance. That is an issue with the Armory not displaying buffs, not a character conflict.

Leilu, do you have a second death knight with the name "Leilou" on that realm? I'm currently unable to verify the conflict as it looks like only one character has the name "Leilou" with the "o."
