Arena wintraders.
by Larppari | 08/04/2008 13:31:04 This topic has been up for a long time on different part of forums and now i'm taking this issue on table at in-game customer support as i feel this is abusement in game mechanics. This is most annoying kind of flaw in game play what comes to arena players. Waiting in ques and joining into game over 10 times without any opponent. Have talked about this with couple of GM:s and they all have pretty much different opinion, other says that there ain't nothing wrong about it and other one saying it isn't allowed to do. One who told that it isn't allowed asked to provide time of incident(simple) and name of team that should have come against us, this i canno't understand cause how the heck i'm supposed to know team name that doesn't even join into battle. Couple solutions comes to my mind at this moment: Give old system back, loose rating if not joined to arena(If someone DC once a hour and loose rating cause of that is small loss considering world #1 arena teams are wintrading) or remove way that addons give you number wich arena you are joining. If nothing else i would love to hear some answers about this problem. |
by Issuntril | 08/04/2008 15:06:43 Hi guys, While I cannot really comment on any potential problems with the Arena queuing system - this is something that, if anything, will be met with a development solution - I can confirm that "Wintrading" is against our rules, and is considered to be exploitation. If you notice any Arena teams which seem to be doing suspiciously well without any apparent competition, then I would encourage you all to report the teams to us in-game so that we can investigate and take appropriate action against them.
