Are the Aspects doomed?

Malygos, the Aspect of Magic has fallen, slain by heroes and Red Dragons.

In the upcoming expansion, the same can probably be expected for Deathwing (After an epic few patches, of course.) even though he is literally burning. He burnt Sinestra very badly by trying to mate with her. Anyway, as the main antagonist of the expansion he most certainly will die.

Nozdormu, the Aspect of Time, is speculated to be the leader of the Infinite Dragonflight (do the quest in Dragonblight) so that gives us reason to slaughter him.

Ysera is under threat from the nightmare and could be corrupted. Again, we'll probably kill her.

In the end, Alexstasza will be the only one left. And, if Blizzard does intend for us to kill them all, they'll probably just say she went mad with the death of her sister and fellow Aspects. Booom.

What d'you think?

No doubt that the aspects are under pressure and that they have a rough time ahead of them, but only time will tell if they are doomed. I am sure we will learn much more about this after the Cataclysm however :-)

In all honesty? I'd love for that to happen. My theory is that Azeroth will eventually be left in the hands of mortals, with all of the 'outside influences' being driven off/slain in order to achieve that fact.

One can indeed speculate that the time of the immortals is coming to an end, that the mortals may indeed be driving off or eliminating everything that can be considered a threat to them... I wonder how Azeroth would be like if that actually happened and nothing but mortals remain?!?
