The game looks so outdated now, and I am not a RTS fan. In fact I got through War 3 and TFT, by doing cheat codes because I wanted to experience the story fully. I basically put god mode on and just played without any chance of dying... Not just a RTS fan unless its something weird like World in Conflict or Black and White.


SC seems to have a cool story, great cut scenes and memorable characters. do you think I could jump into SC2 without knowing anything? it looks a bit like a alien versus predator scenario world thing with Aliens, Humans and Predators just replaced with Zerg, Humans and Protoss(if I understand it correctly)..

I am sure there are more to it.

Even though the best way to get immersed in the Starcraft universe is to actually play the game, it is possible to get the story from the first game without doing so :-)

The first game is 10 years old indeed, but the gameplay is still epic. I would indeed recommend that you give it a go :-)
