Gee, I wonder why the thread starter switched to a level 1 to post this. Probably for the same reason as switching to a level 1 in another thread where (s)he was mainly participating with a level 80...

We at Blizzard are gamers at heart, and we simply love games. For Blizzard employees not to check out new games, and especially MMOGs, would be not only weird but actually a major concern. I hope the guys at GamesCom spend every minute they're not working at the Blizzard booth to hang out at other booths trying out all the games they can find time for.

And if that gives a few trolls and drama queens some satisfaction by thinking they caught someone doing a no-no, so be it. Hopefully some of them will at least dare post on their main. ;)

Q u o t e:
Why I posted on a level 1? Because I was already logged in on that level 1 and cba switching the character I post with.

And you completely misunderstood my post, the point wasn't that Blizzard employees aren't allowed to check out Aion but that people predicting Aion's failure are proven wrong now because even Blizzard is interested in it!

Then I apologise for taking a jab at you, though I think your reply (the part underlined above) puts further emphasis on the silly notion that Blizzard employees would be among the last to be interested in another MMOG - we would be the first! :)

Q u o t e:
I wonder why the blues are replying more and more often in threads concerning Aion. Considering that you guys usually don't reply at all when people are QQ'ing about the patches, this reply seemed rather aggressive. This development can hardly be a surprise when you nerfed WoW beyond recognition, dumbing it down to "Hello Kitty Island Adventure: WoW Edition".

"More and more often"? First reply that I know of. We generally don't talk much about other games, as that's not what these forums are for. This was party about Blizzard employees, which prompted the response.

Thanks for posting on a level 80 at least... (No, not a jab at Þi, but at your "conspiracy theory". ;p)

Anyways, back to other work I go. *poof*

Edit: whet --> what (thanks Zhell!)

Q u o t e:
My apologies. That's the reason I edited it in the first place.

Hehe, ok. Didn't spot that before I replied.

Q u o t e:
Now you're really reading into my reply way too much trying to find flaws.

It was obvious what I was meaning since the beginning, if you had just read the thread title when you read the first post you would have understood.

I give up, I'm even being trolled by Blizzard employees :'(

Edit: Also, the "even Blizzard" was meant because those who criticize Aion are usually Blizzard "fanbois" and as such when Blizzard themselves check out Aion at GamesCom it kind of completely pwns all those nay-sayers.

Oh, I didn't mean to mock you or anything with that comment. I merely wanted to point out that some people (not meaning you) actually seem to think Blizzard employees don't touch (or are not allowed to touch) 'competitor games'.
