[A/H] Champion's Call (CV - Part II)
by TelĂrion | 09/03/2010 19:07:55![]() ----------Champion's Call---------- Morning breaks over the broken battlefields of Icecrown; revealing the horrors of a terrible war. Hundreds of corpses litter the fields of battle - pickings for both the remaining Scourge, and the carrion creatures that inhabit the lands of the dead. At the Argent Tournament, begin to stir from another night of restless sleep. Even with the defeat of the Lich King, many of the men and women of the victorious armies chose to stay behind - wary of any potential counterattack from the Scourge. As they ready themselves for another day of combat against the now leaderless Scourge, several men, from various different races wander the area, distributing fliers, and words of comfort to those they meet. Champions of Azeroth! Heroes of the Argent Crusade! Whilst the battle against the dreaded Scourge, and the bastard Prince of Lordaeron, Arthas, known now to many as the terrible, and destructive Lich King, has been won - there are still many questions left unanswered, and still many undead that wander the landscape of Northrend; we must not forget those who sacrificed themselves so that we achieved victory against our terrifying foe! On the twentieth of this month, a large gathering shall be taking place to honor those whom protected us, whom guided us, whom placed their utmost faith in the light and its workings, to guide us onwards to victory! For those interested in attending the event, and remembering the glorious fallen, all we ask is that you meet us at the Argent Pavilion, within the Tournament grounds, in Icecrown. From here, we will make our way across the ruined battlefields of Icecrown (admittedly, under heavy guard) where a speech shall be given by two representatives of the Argent Crusade. We also ask that you dress as the glorious fallen did whilst serving in the name of their respective faction, in full combat clothing. Glory to the Light! Glory to the Fallen! -----OOC Information----- Date: Saturday 27th of March Time: 6:00pm (Server Time) Location: Argent Tournament, Argent Pavilion (Later, Death's Vigil) Contact: TelĂrion (Horde) -----Timetable----- 18:00pm (Server Time) - Main party's will begin to assemble outside the pavilion. Once the speech is finished, the procession will begin (under heavy guard). 18:25-18:40pm (Server Time) - Procession will arrive at Death's Vigil. 18:45-18:55pm (Server Time) - Alliance and Horde representatives will make a speech to those in attendance, and hold several minutes silence for those who valiantly gave their lives for Azeroth. 19:00-19:10pm (Server Time) - Question's may be asked. Any person/s wishing to talk in private to the representatives may do so now. 19:15pm (Server Time) - Event finishes. Currently looking for: Alliance Representative One person whom has the Argent Crusade Banner. Guards. General Information Champion's Call is based upon my previous event, Crusaders' Vigil - which, in my opinion, and quite a few of the attendees, turned out fairly well. Having spent considerable time working on a general plot to work around this entirely new series of events (With CC obviously being part II), I've finally put it into motion - backed up with the experience of having run an event before. Questions *Feel free to post your questions, and watch this spot closely - for the answers will be stuck 'ere, to avoid clogging the thread.
