To join in the Brewfest's End celebration on Tuesday the 5th of October

Hosted by your friendly (cough) Dwarven Brigade, at this event we will drink to honour those who have fallen, whether they be a simple soldier or:

The mighty High King Modimus Anvilmar, he who brought unity and prosperity to the Kingdom of Ironforge, until the poison of the Dark Iron cowards took his life.

Madoran Bronzebeard and Khardros Wildhammer, the Twin Thanes of Terror, they who routed the Dark Iron scum and began to mend the bridge between the two clans needlessly shattered during the War of the Three Hammers.

Honour shall also be given to those who still walk among us:

High King Magni Bronzebeard: Glory to His Highness! No foe can overcome his might and it is to his stern and just hand do we owe the credit to our continued, thriving society in this world plagued by the encroachment of foreigners and savages! Long live the King!

High Thane Kurdran Wildhammer: Sky'ree's calls on the wind return to us! Kurdran is returning to Azeroth! His fearsome gryphon's screams strike woe and doom into the hearts of any Horde scum who hear it! His stormhammer brings righteous death to them soon after!

Muradin Bronzebeard, King of the Frostborn: He who defies death itself! Returning to us at long last from across the freezing oceans from Northrend! By his hand was the Horde halted on their merciless slaughter up Icecrown Citadel, 'tis good that he did not face Arthas! For High Lord Fordring would not have had the chance to even strike with the Ashbringer!

Brann Bronzebeard: The purveyor of many fine discoveries, it is by his boundless intellect and cunning that we continue to unearth many more secrets of our Great Creators - The Titans!

Appropriate honour shall also be given to the long-standing allies of the Dwarvish Race: The Gnomes.

A warning shall be given to the following miscreants and/or their followers:

The upstart Hellscream brat: The spawn of the most despicable and loathed orc in history! The spawn of Hellscream has began to cement his position to a world that he is not native to! The child shall be appropriately scolded if he does not cease and desist.

The blundering 'Warchief' Thrall: He says he wants peace? He lies! His hand shakes in fear whenever he is in the presence of those who defy his so called 'all-powerful' will! He is a coward! If he does not bring his followers into line, then we - The Alliance - shall do it for him!

The Banshee Queen, Sylvanas Windrunner: Her servants continue to harass the borders of Ironforge! If they do not withdraw out of the Arathi Highlands and Hillsbrad Foothills into the tainted lands of Lordaeron there shall be consequences.

Those who will listen among the Tauren: Neutrality is possible - Abandon the Horde and speak out against their atrocities, do not let a mighty race such as yourself be cowed by the orcish brats!

Those who will listen among the Blood Elves: Abandon your fel-ways! Your Sunwell has been returned to you, your font of power restored! What good is the Horde to you now? Remember who burnt Quel'thalas to a crisp during the Second War! Observe your High Elf brethren, learn from them.

Events line up: (Subject to change)

Welcome to the event by a Senator: A Senator of Ironforge will welcome all at 16:45.

Honour to the Fallen and the Living: It is kindly requested that drinking does not start until after the honours have been given, in order to pay proper respects.

Drinking starts!

At 17:30 the first round of the Royal Ram Race will begin: The contestants will retrieve a ram from the main Brewfest grounds and gather by a Brigade marshal at the crossroads to Kharanos apple bucket. They will then set off along the road east followed by a judge on a none-Brewfest ram. The five who get the furthest will go into the next round. You must STOP once your timer has ran out. Will you ride economically or will you go like the hare? Or maybe the turtle way suits your fancy?

(Random events performed by guests will happen until 18:30)

The last round of the Royal Ram Race will begin at 18:45 including preparation time. The last five contestants will follow the same course and the same rules. The prize for the winner will be 300 Gold Pieces and a random gift the organiser can scrounge up.

The last event shall be a treasure hunt. How close you are to a clue/the treasure itself will be determined by rolls. Raid chat is to be kept FREE OF CHATTER during this event in order to allow concentration. The prize shall be 300 Gold Pieces and a random gift the organiser can scrounge up.

After the treasure hunt is concluded the event will end after a theory-lecture from the General of the Anvilmar Iron Brigade on the nature of the Titans and the Light and the warnings to the enemies of the Alliance have been issued, these will be recorded and sent to appropriate ambassadors.

Note:

- Drinking hours may involve brawling competitions hosted by drunken judges, be warned, lightweights! It is considered good manners to accept ANY duel that you get offered.

- There will be no actual dialogue, simulated or not, from any Alliance/Horde leader. Assume the letters of warning are sent to the guild leaders of Horde guilds. In order to open more cross-faction communication and angst, this is NOT meant to have any bearing on the lore of Blizzard Entertainment, consider it harmless bluff.

- And finally - Enjoy the event and be patient with a blundering event organiser. Make roleplay for yourself during lulls in events whilst I get things sorted!

- People from other servers! Feel free to make level one alts to roleplay normal citizens taking part in the celebrations! No selling your bodily services to drunken fools however, please.
