Acount temp banned for "obscene language"
by Moist | 29/11/2007 00:17:54![]() I had replied to someone with "you are a complete "#&%#?!" but the thing is, it NEVER WAS any curse word that was written and got symbols replacing it. It actually was just symbols I typed, which I figured wouldn't let me get banned... That's on another acount, I can't post from it now until a few days into december. Blizzard automatically assumed it was a curseword that had been changed into symbols, slapped a ban on me, but for all they know I could have been thinking just in symbols as in "that is a bad person i dont like you" not a particular word...geez maybe next time I will just write an actual word... "you are a bad apple, shame on u!" or something...so I don't get swatted by the blizzard language police... That's it, I'm puting the person who I replied to, on my kos list, whether he reported me or not...and I bet he did, the kind of [insert] piece of human [insert] that he is... |

Forums Code of Conduct Notice the "even if masked by symbols or other characters" part. It doesn't matter what you think when you write it, or even what you write, what matters is how people interpret it. If people will take offence, we will take action. The terms bad person or bad apple are not taboo, so why would you filter them? |
