Indirectly, Sergeant Major Percival Higgins’ attire attracted some attention. Not because it was particularly fine, or ugly, or seemingly out of place, but because of the combination of his attire with his rather large red nose and drowsy eyes that accompanied the otherwise stout uniform of a soldier. You see, Higgins was a notorious resident at bar and tavern grand openings, much thanks to the usually free flow of liquids.

The second thing to note about Sergeant Major Percival Higgins was his unusually deep voice, which – over the course of many years in the infantry, had gotten exceedingly deeper. Higgins’ voice, combined with his soldier’s uniform and with free flow of drinks could only mean one thing. He got noticed, very, very quickly.

It was getting to around that time of the evening where Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, Elves and Draenei alike no longer paid much attention to physical appearance. Higgins, being both a military and tavern veteran, has found the prime pick of the evening. So who exactly would this fine young lass be? None other than the fine Mandy McLagergoggles, proud resident of Ironforge and daughter of the Dwarven couple, Brandy and Candy McLagergoggles.
