Doesn’t anyone see a problem with Soul link warlocks? That they can spec so they have over 20 000 effective HP (13000+600+3000*1,2) and still do some of the best if not the best CC and having damage just as good as anyone else? And if he gets a heal that heal is 44% more effective to the warlock than if I get healed.
And that’s without draining life ONCE. When I switch out of shadow form to heal I can maybe achieve 800hp/second while a warlock can drain life for 400-500hp/second which results in (*1,2) 480- 600 effective HP, while doing good damage and proccing instant shadowbolts.
And when you are nerfing warlocks don’t make the shadow priests suffer. I mean really the most hilarious nerf I’ve received was when they nerfed shadow weaving (this was in blue!) and they motivated it by that WARLOCKS where doing to much damage in raids.
In conclusion: It is unfair that a class can spec to have 20 000 effective hp, gain 44% extra effect from healing spells and not lose a substantial amount of damage or crowd control.
