Would there be any chance of 1V1 arena in cataclysm or future patches? If not, how come?

There's some truth to this. In short, here are a few reasons.

* The game is not being balanced around 1 vs 1, and having a 1v1 Arena without any attempts at balancing it would be bad.
* 1v1 Arena is mainly a glorified duel, and the duel system is already in game.

We've seen this idea suggested a few times over the course of the years, however - the answer still remains the same - we have no current plans of implementing a 1vs1 arena.
