Normal/PvE: Saurfang, Terokkar
PvP: Shattered Halls, Vek'nilash, Xavius
RP: Darkmoon Faire
RP PvP: Scarshield Legion

Saurfang (normal/PvE), Battlegroup Misery, opened January 31 as a fresh realm (no migration to the realm for 90 days).


Free Character Migration (FCM)
Please note that any migration may be closed at any time should a destination realm's population rise too high.

To improve the faction ratio on Magtheridon, the following migrations are available from March 18th to 24th:

From Magtheridon (Horde only) to Balnazzar, Burning Blade, Chromaggus, Dragonmaw, Executus, Genjuros, Hakkar, Haomarush, Neptulon, Sunstrider, Tarren Mill, Trollbane, Zenedar, and Silvermoon (PvE)
To Magtheridon (Alliance only) from all PvE realms except Chamber of Aspects and Saurfang

No other FCM will be open this week for English realms.


Paid Character Transfers (PCT)

Quite a few, actually, and as we saw people moving actively yesterday and even last night we decided to keep it open for one more week. While opening migration from so many realms at the same time could run the risk of over-populating the destination realm, it also has (and clearly had so far) an encouraging factor for people that others are likely to move - hence more people moved, and will hopefully continue to do so. :)

When expanding WoW to additional languages we've always aimed to offer the very best of experience with our game, including full customer support, community, web site, and of course game localization for the language. This is what we did for Spanish and Russian, and we're not inclined to flag a number of realms for languages we don't support with such a full package.

Because Magtheridon was in a very special situation. It sounds like your concern with Xavius is overall population though, not faction ratio like in the case with Magtheridon. This is not the last free migration you'll see, but we're not too fond of running too many migrations at the exact same time.

While we won't go into technical and game-play details and reasons here and now, that is simply not an option. Please note that the "Low" population tag only means "lower than most other realms", not "half empty".

RP realm policies is not really the topic of this thread, though we always appreciate feedback on policies and their enforcement. It's a topic better brought to our attention in the In-Game Customer Support forum though, as it's an in-game policy.

Free migrations for RP realms were available for several weeks earlier this year. However, as their purpose is to even our the population it was (and likely will be in the future) only from Argent Dawn to other RP realms.

If they do, that's by the slightest margin. Of course, who chooses to go play Wintergrasp is up to each to decide. We can try to address faction ratios, but offering migration restricted by intent to participate in certain game-play is impossible.

We consider PvP and RP-PvP to be two different realm types, and thus their populations are evaluated separately.
